Petronilo G. Yee 1941 – 2024

The Sangguniang Bayan of Compostela, Davao de Oro, with profound sorrow, extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of our former Municipal Budget Officer and Sangguniang Bayan Member (1998-2007), Petronilo G. Yee, fondly known as “Nong Amay,” who succumbed to death on 15 June 2024 at the age of 83.

Former SB Member Yee’s remarkable expertise in legislative affairs, as demonstrated by his authorship of transformative legislation, along with his commendable tenacity and genuine public service, has forged a legacy that deeply resonates within our community. His invaluable contributions have solidified his esteemed place in our collective consciousness and will be revered for generations. Those who had the chance to know him, work with him and be his friend will always hold him in high regard.

Our hearts are united with Nong Amay’s family in this time of loss, and together, we pray for his soul’s eternal peace.
