“Start with the end in mind” is one of the seven habits of highly effective people in the legendary book of Stephen Covey. That same message was the highlight of the short yet deep talk by the Negosyo Center (NC) Project Manager from the Department of Trade and Industry, Assistant Regional Director Doris T. Delima, on the occasion of her visit at the Negosyo Center in Compostela today.

Accompanied by Sir Kim of DTI Comval and other staff, the good ARD had an hour briefing by the personnel of Negosyo Center, Emm and Lilet, with the presence of Mayor Lema P. Bolo.

In her short chat, ARD Delima summarized the basic roles of Negosyo Center, i.e. a set of business and entrepreneurship center that is functional, willing and committed to deliver results toward changing the lives of the people and community.

She made emphasis at driving to reach measurable quality results over quantities of activities like training and conferences. By results, she like to be assured that participants really establish businesses of their own or become entrepreneurs themselves.

“May mapuntahan!” must be the Negosyo Center’s primary output for its participants. Gearing into trajectory of reaching the vulnerable sectors, the NC manager hopes that the center should necessarily reach out the youth, women, persons with disabilities, indigenous people and the elderlies.

Adding icing to the cake, the lady manager wished to maximize the utilization of the internet and leverage online platforms to foster marketability and salability of products; good or services.
